Mustache Implants Are on the Rise in the Middle East
I should not be surprised that we would get around to this. Apparently, in the middle east a good moustache is considered as sign of virility and wisdom – but we all knew that, didn’t we. Arabian men in particular are travelling to Turkey, France and other countries for hair transplants from areas of denser growth to their upper lips. With modern techniques I imagine this could work out pretty well, but I haven’t yet found any testimonials.
Would you do it? They say it can cost up to $7000.00 not including travel and accommodations. That would put a stiff price on your upper lip.
At right is the late War Minister Ismail Enver of the Ottoman Empire. No need for implants there.
